Inverness Airport is a 1 hour 15 minute drive away (car hire available at the airport). Or a train can be taken from Inverness Railway Station to Lairg which is on the Inverness to Wick/Thurso line.
Local Buses also run to both Golspie and Tain where connections can be made for North and South bound bus services.
